Shipping policy

1. General Shipping Overview

Cedar Foods Group is committed to delivering our perishable Mediterranean products to your door. All items are shipped in insulated packaging with frozen gel packs or dry ice to maintain the required cold temperature throughout transit.

  • Handling Time: Due to the temperature-sensitive nature of our products, all orders are processed and shipped exclusively on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This ensures your package does not sit in a carrier's facility over the weekend, reducing the risk of spoilage. As for non-temperature-sensitive products, all orders will be shipped from Monday – Saturday.
  • Carrier: We use USPS, FedEx and UPS and require shipping methods that guarantee next-day delivery for temperature-sensitive products and 3-8 business days for all other products.

  • Processing Time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST on Thursday will not be shipped until the following Monday for temperature-sensitive products. All other orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will be shipped the following day. We are closed on Sundays.
  • Delivery Address: We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations. A physical street address is required.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the package, the necessary insulated packaging materials, and the delivery destination zip code.

  • Shipping charges will be displayed at checkout.
  • Orders exceeding $200 qualify for free Standard Shipping. This does not apply to cold and frozen products.

4. Order Tracking and Delivery Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number once your order has shipped.

  • Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking number and ensure someone is available to receive the package upon delivery.
  • Perishable Alert: Given the perishable contents, the package must be opened and the products immediately refrigerated upon arrival.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements (Cedar Foods Guarantee)

Because our products are perishable food items, we cannot accept returns. However, we guarantee the quality of our food upon arrival.

  • Shipping Damage/Spoilage: If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or warm to the touch, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at +1-305-858-0050.
  • You must include a photo of the damaged or spoiled product and the shipping box for us to issue a full refund or send a replacement order.
  • Missed Delivery: We are not responsible for spoilage due to:
    • An incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
    • The package being left unrefrigerated for an extended period after delivery.
    • Missed delivery attempts where the customer was unavailable to receive the package.

6. Order Changes and Cancellations

To ensure timely fulfillment, changes or cancellations can only be made within 2 hours of placing the original order. Please call us immediately at +1-305-858-0050 if you need to make a change.
